Possible Leica M9 and X1 Leaked Photos!

Slated to be announced on 9/9/09, the same day as Apple’s iPod event, Leica should be releasing a new M9 rangefinder camera (click read link for photo).   The M9 is rumored to have a Canon 18MP full frame sensor, which should work well in low light environments- great news for Leica fans worldwide.  The camera we have been waiting for!

Perhaps even more exciting is the Leica X1 (above), a compact and retro-styled APS-C sensor based camera, which will support Leica’s M lenses.  Could be a good “poor mans M8″, for those people not capable or willing to shell out for the M9.
